How can I get an item if the library does not own it?

JMRL provides an Interlibrary Loan service to borrow books from libraries outside of the library system. This service is available at all library branches. Check the Interlibrary Loan page to request a book or learn more.

If the book you want is new, you may suggest that we order it by filling out the Suggest a Purchase form. You may also request to place a hold on the item if JMRL adds it to the collection. You will be notified if the book is ordered and when it is available for checkout.
